The Christmas Packet that was given to the students after their Math exam is an optional assignment.  It consists of a word search, crossword puzzle, two math pages, and a coloring sheet.  If they put effort into completing this, they will start off the second semester with a 20 out of 20 grade.  No partial points will be given; it is an all-or-nothing deal.  The points will be awarded on completeness and effort, not on accuracy.

Students have access to their books in 2 different ways.

1.  The textbook is loaded on their laptop under CCP Programs in the Textbooks File Folder.  Pre-Algebra students (low blocks) use the Math Course 3 book.  Accelerated Pre-Algebra students (high blocks) use the Pre-Algebra book.

They do not need the internet to access the book on their laptop.

2.  The textbook is also available through www.classzone.com .  Log in to the portal and see Math Resources for instructions on how to access the internet version of the book.

They do not need their laptop to access the internet book.
