  Extra Credit   Minimize

To get extra credit for Health Science...try one of these below.

1.  Find a current article (less than 3 months old) related to the topic we are currently studying.  It can be from a newspaper, magazine, or the internet (must be printed).  Cut it out, read/highlight it, then write a 100 word summary of it.  Staple the summary to the top of the article and turn it in before the end of the unit (test day).

2.  Set up a guest speaker on a unit we are covering.  A parent, uncle, aunt, cousin, someone you just met, it doesn't matter.  If they are an expert in their field and they are willing to come in and give a 20-40 minute talk to your class, it could earn you extra credit (as long as it is relevant to the current topic).
