1. Everything in moderation (except things that can be addicting, I avoid those).

2. TV, video games, movies, internet, IM'ing, etc...are great, but they aren't living. If you aren't doing something with someone else, you are just being distracted!

3. If you are hungry...eat, if you are full, stop eating.

4. You don't know what's possible until you try.

		My Family Traditions

Weekly
We eat dinner at the table together every night and start with a prayer.
We don't watch TV, but we do like movies and video games.
We help each other with our homework.
We play the Wii (especially the Wii Fit) to track our health.

Seasonal
We host a pumpkin carving party every year (since 1993)
We cut down our Christmas Tree at a Chirstmas tree farm the day after Thanksgiving.
We pick apples and pumkins at Eckerts Farm in Bellville, IL.
We take family vacations every year (most recently to CA and AL)
We play sports in the yard all the time (basket ball, soccer, whiffle ball, crochet, frisbe)
We take Jackie (our dog) for hikes.
We go to movies together.
